The path from lofty Tiantai Peak led down these stairs at Jixiang Temple on Jiuhuashan, Anhui. Jixiang, one of around 100 temples on Jiuhua, was first built in 1906 and rebuilt in 2009. It is a Pure Land temple which houses nuns, and is the next-to-last temple on the downward trail.
