Carvings along Xiangyun Lu (Incense Cloud Road), joining Huiji Temple (on a peak) to Fayu Temple (at its bottom) on Putuoshan, Zhejiang, China. The carving on the left is sometimes interpreted as "Buddhist Paradise on the Sea," carved by a Ming Dynasty general, giving the island its nickname.
