The Ni-o Mon, Hosho-in, Chichibu, Japan

The small gate at Hosho-In (Temple 32 on Japan's Chichibu pilgrimage) has a fine set of "Ni-o" (Two Kings). These are the same "Heng and Ha" seen in China, but here they are called "A" and "Un," representing together the sound "Aum" (as well as the Yin and Yang).
